 A Message From MilacronWith an economic rebound underway, Milacron LLC and our businesses are in a strong position to serve our customers as only an industry leader can – with the highest standards of products and services available globally. A new entity, Milacron LLC brings together the global leaders in plastics-processing technologies and industrial fluids that were previously Milacron Inc. Following the purchase of the company’s assets by investors, Milacron is now a privately held company on firm financial footing. Our new balance sheet, with $500 million less in liabilities and 80 percent less debt (down to $59 million from $291 million), is a strong indicator that the 125-year legacy of Milacron’s companies remains strong. Through difficult times, we’ve maintained our integrity, industry relationships and brand reputation. And by keeping our focus on our customers, we’ve been building on those strengths. Aftermarket and consumable goods purchases picked up last July, and, as the market stabilized, our North American businesses returned to profitability in the fall. Globally, Asia continues to represent our largest growth area, and efforts to rejuvenate our European businesses are well underway. In addition to strong 2009 4th quarter performance, positive 2010 1st quarter indicators prove that Milacron continues to serve customers well – and that they continue to turn to us for the technology and services they’ve long relied on. Today, our businesses are able to react more quickly to both the challenges and the opportunities that the marketplace poses. Our dramatic improvement in competitive position over the past 12 months (along with an undrawn $55 million line of credit, among other sources of liquidity) provides us with the needed resources to advance our technologies, deliver exceptional customer service and bring new value to everyone we serve. Collectively, we know what matters in manufacturing.
