Milacron Appoints H. Christopher DeCotiis Director

CINCINNATI, Ohio - May 4, 2005...Milacron Inc. (NYSE: MZ) today announced the appointment of H. Christopher DeCotiis to the company's board of directors. Mr. DeCotiis, 39, currently serves as vice president - senior credit officer at the Royal Bank of Scotland in New York. He will stand for election to the board at Milacron's annual meeting of shareholders to be held on August 3.

Mr. DeCotiis joined the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2004. Prior to that, he was director - group risk management at the Royal Bank of Canada in New York. He received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in international relations from Villanova University in 1987 and 1989, respectively, and a master's degree in administration and finance from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, in 1997.
