Milacron Elects Gamez Controller

CINCINNATI , Ohio - September 19, 2005...The board of directors of Milacron Inc. (NYSE: MZ) has elected Danny L. Gamez controller and a company officer, effective immediately. In this post, Gamez will have overall responsibility for corporate accounting and financial reporting functions and will report to Ross A. Anderson, vice president - finance and chief financial officer, who previously held the controller position as well.

"Danny brings with him a strong, international background in accounting and finance and, as controller, fills a key role in the company's overall internal control and financial reporting structure."

Gamez, 43, comes to Milacron from SPX Corporation, where he was most recently chief financial officer of a European subsidiary. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Akron and is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified management accountant (CMA).
