Dean Roberts Named President of the Americas Aftermarket Services
Newly created position heightens focus on enhancing customer value
Batavia, Ohio – Milacron LLC, a U.S headquartered, global manufacturer of plastics processing technologies, products and services, has named Dean Roberts, a manufacturing leader with over 28 years of experience, to the newly created position of President of the Americas Aftermarket Services.
Reporting directly to CEO Dennis Smith, Roberts will be responsible for enhancing the value of Milacron’s aftermarket services to customers through its ServTek, Wear Technology and Progress Precision businesses.
“We created this executive position to heighten our focus as an organization on serving our extensive fleet of installed machines,” said Smith. “Our goal is to constantly find new ways to make our customers more competitive in today’s challenging business environment, and Dean has a proven track record for innovating proactive aftermarket solutions.”
Throughout his career, Roberts has built a reputation for driving aftermarket business, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of Aftermarket Sales for Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc. In this role, Roberts grew the $500 million North America Aftermarket Business by 36% in three years with a focus on solutions that improve customers’ productivity and machine performance.

Roberts began his career with Honeywell, and held several positions of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure there. He has an M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a B.S. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He earned his General Management Program Certification and Black Belt Certification while at Honeywell International, and holds a U.S. patent for an extruded material used in the medical packaging industry.
