Cooling Towers Milacron Integrated Heat Transfer Equipment

Milacron Cooling Towers are designed for industrial cooling applications such as for hydraulics, chiller condensers and temperature controllers.

Milacron Cooling Tower crossflow design benefits:

  • Saves pump power costs because you only pay to move the water to the top of the tower. Gravity does the rest.
  • Saves fan power costs by using an induced-draft design.
  • Avoids the water leaks typical in forced-draft pressurized towers. Integral honeycomb louvers keep the circulating water inside your tower - and off your roof.

Milacron Cooling Towers Sizes

  • Available in galvanized steel or fiberglass construction.
  • Capacities from 10 to 375 tons.

 

Plant-Wide Pumping & Cooling Solutions

Milacron Integrated Heat Transfer Equipment

Milacron Pump Tank Stations are designed to circulate water through several process applications plant-wide. Pump tank stations work with cooling tower systemsor chilled water systems to make a central water system.

Features and Options:

  • Single or dual pump configurations with optional standby pump and manifold.
  • Ready to run tanks are built from heavy-gauge steel and strengthened with perimeter reinforcement. Mild steel models receive epoxy coating inside.
  • Tanks are available from 275 to 3000 gallons.
  • To remove debris from your water system Milacron recommends the CM-MLS in line full flow filter. The filter uses a 140-micron mesh screen. The units construction and conical screen element creates a flow pattern that gives the filter a self-cleaning action.
  • Debris is effectively forced to the bottom reservoir for easy removal through the flush port. Units come standard with an automatic timer and purge valve.
  • A pressure differential alarm is optional.

Central Chiller

CENTRAL Chillers
Milacron Titan Central Chillers are engineered specifically for industrial process environments. Milacron Titan central chillers combine a multizone refrigerant chiller with a large capacity pump tank station.

  • Air and water-cooled central chillers ranging in size from 20 to 180 tons.
  • Process temperatures range from 20 degrees F to 65 degrees F.

The pump station includes:

  • Process and evaporator pumps
  • Refrigerant and coolant pressure gauges
  • Suction and discharge service valves, and flow safety switches
  • A standby pump with manifold is optional.

Milacron's Titan chillers are designed around multiple and independent refrigeration circuits. Using multiple refrigeration zones assures you of economical operation through capacity staging based upon load conditions. Each zone can run independently of each other. This allows you to shut down a zone, while performing maintenance on it, without having to shut down the entire system.

PORTABLE Chillers
Milacron Portable Chillers are designed for cooling industrial process applications.

Air-cooled models are recommended where inadequate or contaminated water supplies exist, or where process heat recovery for plant heating is desired. Air-cooled units are available from 5 to 30 tons.

Water-cooled models are used where tower water, city water, or other plant water sources are available for condensing and heat rejection. Water-cooled units are available from 5 to 40 tons.

Both styles offer:

  • Two levels of microprocessor control
  • Lift-off stainless steel enclosure panels
  • Stainless steel and galvanized steel frame
  • Refrigerant and coolant pressure gauges
  • A small footprint.
  • With the HE instrument package you get the ability to view the flow rate, and the capacity usage is displayed.

 

Precise Water Temperature Control

Milacron Mold Temperature Controllers are designed for industrial applications where precise temperature control of circulating water is required.

Features and Benefits:
Water Units for up to 250 degrees F.
Oil Units for 100 to 500 degrees F.

  • Standard pump sizes from 3/4 HP to 7-1/2 HP.
  • Can be configured with heaters from 6 KW to 34 KW.
  • Include stainless steel enclosure panels.
  • AVT modulating cooling valve.
  • High-efficiency pump casting
  • Instrument packages operate the AVT cooling valve and maintain control accuracy and stability, and are available with SPI communications.
