Milacron Hydraulic Mold Clamps are designed for automatic clamping of molds on existing and new injection molding machines. The hydraulic mold clamps are compact and robust and can be mounted in many areas of an injection molding machine, and are easy to retrofit.

Hydraulic Mold Clamps are available in either a vertical or horizontal load configuration. These clamps can be used with standard back plates with parallel faces (no chamfer required).

Milacron Magnetic Clamping units are high-powered magnetic clamping systems designed for industrial applications where a reduction in machine downtime from mold changing is desired. Permanent electro-magnetic clamping of molds on injection presses is adaptable to all sizes and shapes of molds.

Milacron magnetic clamping units feature a rugged honeycomb construction that incorporates a patented circular pole design. Milacron systems also include patented monitoring systems that detect Magnetic Saturation and Mold Movement.

Milacron manual Bayonet Clamping systems are positive-locking designed for installation on all standard injection presses to provide quick mold changing.

Manual Bayonet Mold Clamps allow the convenience of quick mold change without all of the hydraulic and electrical connections.

• Easy to install.
• The entire working surface of platens can be used independant of outer mold shape.
• Designed for presses with maximum opening forces not exceeding 23 US tons (typically for machines under 300 tons).
• Maximum mold weight up to 3,300 lbs.
• No back plates on the molds are required.
• Since the clamps use the SPI standard drilling pattern, mold modifications are minimized.
• Typical mold change can occur within 5 minutes.
