Continuous extrusion is recognized as the best process to get a multilayer parison with the most uniform distribution. When the item to be blown – either a packaging container or a fuel tank – features a large size, feeding the parison into the mould cavity by a robot becomes more convenient than shuttling a heavy carriage that holds a heavy mold.
