Co-Rotating Twin Screw

Milacron Co-rotating Twin Extruder Wood and Natural Fiber Extrusion System Milacron

Co-rotating Twin Extruder Wood and Natural Fiber Extrusion System Milacron
The Co-Rotating Twin Screw Series
Unparalleled Advantages for Wood & Natural Fiber Plastic Composites

The co-rotating twin screw extruder line is proven for the efficient, reliable and economic mixing, devolatilization and direct extrusion of Wood and Natural Fiber Plastic Composites. Applications include decking and railing and other custom shaped products.

The series of four co-rotating twin screw extruders covers application throughputs up to 8,000 lbs/hr (3,636 kg/hr). The complete line features patented Direct Extrusion Technology – no gear pump or single screw extruder required for pressure generation. Segmented barrel and screw construction provide longer life and reduced life-cycle costs.

To help customers with processing solutions we have world-wide demonstration and development laboratories and technical assistance.

Co-Rotating Twin Screw Extuder

Cincinnati Milacron Co-Rotating Twin Screw extruders

Co-rotating Twin Extruder Wood and Natural Fiber Extrusion System Milacron

are designed for large plastic composite outputs up to 8,000 lbs/hr, superior performance and higher profits.

Benefits:

  • Co-rotation provides excellent mixing (dispersive & distributive) and devolatilization characteristics for highly filled composite materials.
  • Optimized free volume for medium torque and heat-sensitive applications.
  • Unique screw design has optimized energy transfer and reduced power consumption.
  • Segmented screws and barrels are constructed of a proprietary wear and corrosion resistant material to provide longer life and reduce the overall life cycle cost.

Cincinnati Milacron Co-Rotating Twin Screw Extruder systems give all the advantages for productive operation.
