Milacron product brands focusing on tailored approach for Latin American markets, all under one roof at Plastimagen

(CINCINNATI, OHIO – March 3, 2016) – Milacron Holdings Corp. (NYSE: MCRN), a leading industrial technology company serving the plastics processing industry announce their upcoming presence at Plastimagen 2016, in Mexico City, Mexico. The Plastimagen show runs from March 8-11th at the Centro Banamex and is celebrating its 20th year. Milacron will be displaying its technologies at stand 1614.  It will also be the first time Canterbury/Genca displays under their new parent company, Milacron, as part of the Milacron Extrusion team.

 

Milacron in Latin America

Milacron has a High Impact Technical center in Querétaro, Mexico, 140 miles northwest of Mexico City. The facility, in use since 2014, measures in at 32,300-square-foot and is the heart of Milacron’s Latin American operations. The facility houses Milacron’s Latin American injection, extrusion and blow molding sales, aftermarket parts and service business as well as Mold-Masters Latin American hot runner and control systems service business and DME mold component and industrial supplies operations. The facility employs 45, including 25 service engineers. It stocks approximately $2.5 million in spare parts to ensure prompt service to those in the region. In recent years, Milacron has also focused on sales and support of extrusion and blow molding machinery and have seen impressive results.

Robotshot 165 with E-Multi Secondary Injection Unit – The best all-electric single component injection unit just became BETTER.

Milacron is expanding the already vast capability of the Roboshot Series by moving into the two-component market with the addition of the Mold-Masters LSR E-Multi 2nd injection unit. The integrated all-electric design (of both products) provides clean, precise and repeatable molding for any application. Multi-component molding is a sophisticated discipline that is increasingly in demand. Using different materials (and/or dyes) in one product can improve the design and durability while being cost effective and eliminating downstream assembly equipment. This multi-component option is available as a standard option or as an aftermarket retrofit.
