GEARBOX REBUILDS & UPGRADES
Milacron Extrusion specializes in rebuilding gearboxes with the capability to handle all sizes, makes, and models. We have extensive experience with Flender, Koellmann, NRM, HPM, Gloucester, Davis Standard, Alpine, Kiefel, Egan, Link Belt, Lufkin and many others. Our in-house machining capabilities make it possible to modify castings, re-sleeve and/or polish shafts, repair seal surfaces, resurface gear IDs, and re-key gears. Milacron Extrusion disassembles and cleans all parts for inspection, rebuilds and replaces all necessary components, reassembles the gearbox to OEM specifications, and paints the gearbox to each customer’s preferred color.
EXTRUDER REBUILDS & UPGRADES
Milacron Extrusion provides full service extruder rebuilding and upgrades. We are capable of replacing or refurbishing everything from the gearbox to the end of the barrel, including such items as barrels, heaters, feed screws, thermocouples, T/C adapters, barrel discharge clamps, control panel rewiring, drives, instruments, shrouds, and all other miscellaneous items required for your extruder to be made like new again.
CONTROL PANEL REPLACEMENTS & UPGRADES
Milacron Extrusion performs full control cabinet replacements and upgrades, including rewiring, new drive installation, instrument and meter upgrades, replacements, speed pots, relay and contactor replacements, & more.
FEED SCREW REBUILDS & REMOVAL
Milacron Extrusion offers the ability to remove stuck feed screws, rebuild main flights and/or mixers with Colmonoy 56, polish, chrome, undercut, and rebuild feed screws to standard specifications.
FEED SECTION RE-SLEEVING
Milacron Extrusion has the capability to re-line full length standard bi-metallic sleeves, carbide bi-metallic sleeves, EDM port, manufacture and install bronze bushings, acid flush, and pressure test. In addition we can offer complete fabricated replacement feed sections.
