In this role, Suraj will lead Milacron’s injection molding and extrusion businesses in India and play a key role in advancing growth across select international markets, driving profitable growth, scaling market presence, and delivering differentiated, customer-centric solutions.
Suraj brings over three decades of leadership experience across global engineering and technology organizations. He is recognized for driving business transformation, improving operational efficiency, and building resilient, growth-oriented teams.
Before joining Milacron, he served as Managing Director at Wittur Group, where he led multi-country operations and played a key role in strengthening supply chain capabilities, expanding market reach, and advancing engineering and R&D functions.
At Milacron, his leadership will support the organization’s continued focus on delivering high-performance technologies, optimizing processes, and creating value for customers across industries.
Safety is a constant commitment that must be woven into our daily operations. Embracing this philosophy, we marked National Safety Week at our Ahmedabad headquarters with a series of focused activities centered around this year’s theme: Engage, Educate, and Empower People to Enhance Safety.
A week-long initiative to boost safety awareness The week kicked off with an inauguration ceremony, during which safety badges were distributed to reinforce a collective sense of responsibility within our organization. All associates came together to take a safety oath, reaffirming their dedication to following established protocols as we strive for a zero-accident workplace.
Throughout the week, we organized a variety of engaging activities aimed at raising awareness and enhancing preparedness. One highlight was a poster-making contest, which encouraged employees to express their thoughts on workplace safety creatively.
Additionally, we organized an ambulance emergency response demonstration, where participants gained invaluable insight into real-world situations and the importance of public safety services. Presented by the 108 Emergency Service Provider, this demonstration highlighted how to effectively use the response system to address medical emergencies on-site and off-site.
Hands-on training sessions were another key component of our program, featuring first aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) demonstrations that empowered employees with essential life-saving skills. A dedicated firefighting drill, along with training in the use of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), further bolstered our emergency preparedness and confidence.
Concluding the week on an insightful note The week came to a close with an exhibition showcasing personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools, where vendors highlighted products that foster a safer working environment. This was followed by a prize distribution ceremony for the poster contest winners and a closing event recognizing employees for their active participation and engagement.
Through these initiatives, we emphasize our commitment to building a culture where safety is not just understood but actively practiced and owned by everyone within the organization.
