Ideal for large and long opening molds, the Hydron delivers high performance with reduced energy consumption. 

Powered by an energy-efficient electronically controlled variable volume pump (EVP), the Hydron provides exceptional performance and energy savings. Ideal for a wide range of applications, it offers uniform force distribution across platens and provides excellent mold squareness and parallelism. This platform’s large ram diameter and unique prefill cylinder design also reduce mold wear and allow for fast tonnage build-up.

The Hydron has 8 clamp tonnages that are paired with 8 variations of injection units, allowing for a wide range of operational capacity. Clamp, injection unit, screw, and barrel technologies can be configured to optimize the production of a large range of parts, including consumer goods, packaging, automotive, and custom molding.

The platform is regionally engineered to deliver both efficiency and consistency.

Additional Info

The Hydron comes with an Injection Unit on precise linear guideways engineered with frictionless bearing guideways that improve the injection power and cylinder alignment. With a twin-cylinder injection unit, this platform also offers uniform load distribution across the screw centerline.
